Welcome back once again, true believers....

I bring to you Episode 33: The Sword of Thrones!

First up, I visit my wife in her studio (formerly our piano room) and for about 2 hours, I talk to her about one of her favorite shows on tv... Game Of Thrones!  Listen as we discuss the characters the death and the sex.  And we also talk about the book.
Be forewarned, Spoilers abound.

And you can check her out at Moss Creations

And a couple of her designs...

Then at 2 hours and 20 minutes we have "What's In Head's Longbox?", where we continue our Atom coverage with his next appearance... The Sword of Atom Special 3

This episode, I look at the podcast: Now Playing Podcast.

And still no final song.  Still debating on whether I want to do that at this point.  What do you guys think?  Let me know....  Also if you're in a band and would like your song played on the show, feel free to get in touch with me (music@HeadSpeaks.com)

Episode 9 : Star Wars and more!

Greetings constant listeners.  Welcome back to Head Speaks and to my 9th starriffic episode entitled Star Wars and More!.

First up on A Little Head, I relate my recent experience at the doctors, when I went in to have a dum dum dummmmmmm, Vasectomy!

Then in At The Movies With Head, I talk about The Atom (or so they're calling him) on CW's Arrow and Firestorm on CW's The Flash.
What do I think of the way these characters are being handled..... listen and find out....

Then in Geekin' With Head, I have a very special guest star for a very special hour and a half long talk about STAR WARS!!!

Come listen as my special guest Ryan Daly aka Count Drunkula (a frequent letter writer on the world famous Fire and Water Podcast) and I discuss the six Star Wars movies.
Listen as we compare Bobba Fett to the UPS man (well, ok... I make that comparison).
Listen as we talk about Ewoks and Steven Spielberg....
Listen as Ryan tells us why the Prequels are a bad idea.

To hear more of Ryan Daly and his Star Wars podcast, you can look on iTunes or over at his website: Dead Bothan Spies Podcast,

And to continue on our Ryan Daly episode, on Where's Head Going?, I pimp Ryan's website:
http://blackcanaryfan.blogspot.com/ where Ryan talks about Black Canary and her various appearances...

In honor of my special guest and our topic, this episode's end song is The Sage Begins by Weird Al, from his Running with Scissors album from 1999.  It is a parody of the 1971 single "American Pie" by Don McLean, and it recounts the plot of the film 'Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace.'

Episode 2 - The Return of Head

Second Episode of Head Speaks

You can download it from:  Episode 2: The Return of Head!

Editors note:  During Geekin' With Head, I mention the CW show Arrow.  I mention (twice) that it was renewed for a second season.  It should have been THIRD season.  So when you hear me say the upcoming season is Season Two, replace that in your head with Season Three.

This episode I dedicate to the memory of James Spence of Merced CA.  He passed away June 17.  I've known James for over 20 years (we used to work together at Target).  Me and his son (Jason Spence) are really good friends.

R.I.P James Spense.

Ad for this week is:
Hollywood Babble On

This episode I make a change.  Gone is Hershel and Things That Piss Him Off... Here is Bitches, Moans, and Gripes, by myself, no character.
This week in Bitches, Moans, and Gripes I once again blast "Reality" t.v.   I ridicule Finding Bigfoot, The Bachelor/Bachelorette (and related shows), Teen Mom, Toddlers and Tiaras, and call out the stupidity of "Kidchella" and the whole Kardasian clan.

Also, At The Movies, I look at the FANTASTIC show, Impractical Jokers, starring James (Murr) Murray, Joe Gatto, Brian (Q) Quinn, and Sal Vulcano.  The premise of the show is four life long friends, try to embarrass each other.

Head's Bookshelf:
MythAdventures by Robert Asprin and Jodi Lynn Nye.
There are currently about 20 books in the series.
You can click on the link above for further information on The MythAdventures....
If you get a chance, check it out.

This episode I introduce a new segment entitled: Geeking With Head.
Latest and Greatest news: Brandon Roth has signed up to play Ray Palmer (aka The Atom) in this upcoming season of CWs Arrow and Robbie Amell has signed up to play Ronnie Raymond (aka Firestorm) on the new CW show The Flash....

For more Firestorm goodness, check out the Fire and Water Podcast
As I mention in the show, here are some pictures of Firestorm's different incarnations:

Original Firestorm (Ronnie Raymond and Professor Stein)

Elemental Firestorm

Jason Rusch Firestorm

New 52 Firestorm

Also, I talk about the new Star Wars movies, the upcoming Marvel Movies, the new DC Cinematic Universe and this coming season and comic book shows.

Finally on Where's Head Going? I talk about Epic Rap Battles of History.

I play Superman Vs Goku and then for the final song this episode I play Vader Vs Hitler (all three songs).

Episode 1 of Head Speaks: The Beginning of an Era!

HEADCAST PREMIERS!!!

First Episode of Head Speaks is finally here!!!!!!

Episode 1: The Beginning of an Era!

This episode of Head Speaks, Brother Head introduces his show and gives special thanks.

Thanks go to Kevin Smith for encouraging people to start Podcasting while Head was attending a screening of Jay and Silent Bob's Groovy Cartoon Movie and the taping of an episode of Jay and Silent Bob Get Old (episode 123).
Also, I thank Shagg Matthews and Rob Kelly of The Fire And Water Podcast.  Their podcast covers one of the greatest heroes ever... Firestorm!!!! And of course the water portion refers to Aquaman.
Shag is discussing the original Firestorm series (well, technically the second series as the original only ran 5 issues and died due to the DC Implosion of the 70's).  He reviews each issue and then gives his thoughts on it.
Rob is doing the same thing with the current Aquaman series.
They can be found at the following links:

fireandwaterpodcast.blogspot.com
firestormfan.com
theaquamanshrine.net

They can also be found on Facebook and Google+.  Look for Firestorm Fan and Aquaman Shrine.
They also do another podcast called "Who's Who in the DCU" where they cover the entire run of DC Comics "Who's Who" and all the updates and assorted tittles.

Check out their Podcast.

Another Podcast that I thank is: From Crisis to Crisis: A Superman Podcast (their Facebook page is https://www.facebook.com/FromCrisisToCrisisASupermanPodcast)

As I say on my podcast, check them out if you're a fan of Superman or great comics.

Below are listed the different segments of the HeadCast.

1) Things that Piss me off, by Hershel H. Hemingway

- Things that annoy and piss Head off.  Anything from drivers to politicians to religion to celebrity news. This episode Hershel talks about "Reality TV".

2) At the Movies with Head

- Head reviews movies, tv shows and DVDs.  This episode Head talks about the CW show Arrow with the guest appearance of Barry Allen from last Dec.

3) Head's Bookshelf

- Head talks about any good books he's read recently.  Head doesn't include anything this episode.

4) Whats in Head's Long Box?

- Where Brother Head talks about either comic books, graphic novels or a comic book series.  This episode he talks about and reviews DC's latest crossover Forever Evil.

5) Where's Head going?

- Websites either recommended by Head or incredibly stupid. Today Head tells his viewers about Fark.com

6) Talkin' to Head

-Viewer feedback.  As this is the first episode, there is no Viewer Feedback.

And I plan on playing a song at the end of every episode.  This episode, I play "A Better Version of You" by Paul and Storm in honor of my wife being pregnant with my fourth child (my second with her).  The new lil Brother Head (or Sister Headette) is due the end of Jan or the beginning of Jan.

If you can, check out Paul and Storm's work.  They are great musicians/comedians.
